Mom made an overnight visit to us on Tuesday. As a bonus beyond nice socialisation she brought, among other things, all my (and a bunch of my brother's) old Lego.
This is about one third of it.
You know you'd pour it all over the floor too.
One of the things I started to feel like building when we visited her last time and went through the collection was a huge castle. But once we got it over here that's not what I started with.
Not quite anyway. I spent a few happy hours last night and tonight on this:

This guy possibly has one of the tougher jobs a minifigure can get.
Uncharted island ahoy! All hands prepare for boarding!
The next logical step is, I guess, some kind of competition or target for this ... thing. We'll see. There are plenty of pieces left in any case.
