So, I got in touch with my webhost's tech support. Speedy as ever, I got a reply within minutes. Backups are taken daily, but part of what had gone wrong with the server was that the integrity check done to make sure the latest files are copied to the backup machine failed.
A bummer, to put it in technical terms.
So, I'm moving on, putting up this entry as well as one I wrote yesterday.
And keep mailing asking for a new Disco beta ticket ...
I'm glad I didn't upload more stuff during the past month. But I haven't managed to stop wondering if I put up anything really cool that I've forgotten about and will now have lost forever just yet.
