Look, releasing music for free without fearing your listeners pays! I just purchased Little By Little, the album by Harvey Danger I mentioned (in the text for an external link, mainly) a while back. I've been meaning to pay them since first download, and now that I got around to it I noticed they still had "preorder" packages left. Now I just have to wait a week (rough guesstimate) for delivery, and then my collection of CD-format music purchased for myself with my own money will grow by one item for the first time since I'm not sure when.
Cool.

Even if the actual disc isn't more than a fringe benefit.
Heck, I don't even have a dedicated music player that works with CDs anymore ...
