Refactoring - the Book

Suddenly, amid meetings, caffeine and t-shirts, the Book appeared from its absence, right on my desk. I'll be sure to put it to good use.

I am, after all, at least as good as anyone at producing code on which to apply things like that.

I bet the authors would be deeply skeptical toward anything being labeled the Book, so I'll stop right now and promise to never do it again.

Otherwise I came to work yesterday and found my very first clearly (relatively, with the point "things I've forgotten" it's at least very inclusive) defined task list and deadline on my desk. Very cool, sort of feels like I've really started working instead of just showing up and attempting to get into the swing of things while others work all around me. Now I, too, can be serious!

Or something.

In my spare time I'm getting deeper into Metroid Prime and developing a daily routine including a bit of Animal Crossing. Just checking my letters, digging up a few fossils and pulling a few weeds. If I do it right a golden axe will be coming my way in two weeks time!

Which is a good thing, in case you didn't know.

Metroid is a good thing too. Very likely even a great one. I just need to find out where I'm supposed to go to make progress right now ...
