Seriously (actually, that was a description pretty true to life), AJAX is basically a nice label on a few technologies for updating website content without having to reload the page the usual way. Google made it popular with Google Maps, Gmail and Google Suggest, and it could definitely come in handy for the stuff I do at work. If it works well and easily enough for our purposes that is.
Tomorrow I'll focus on finding out if it does.
If it works well for Google we should at least have a fighting chance to get it going too.
No, I didn't just say we're as good as Google.
