Updating from Pigbox running Opera. Haven't actually had Opera up and running on this box before now. The last version I downloaded didn't want to run because (it seems) I had a too new version of libpng installed. It really, really wanted version 2 to be there, but all I had was version 3, so the poor thing got worried and didn't want to start. Oh well, that's fixed now. Got to love Opera :-) ...
Have got the good old Matrix Code Emulator screensaver running on Terminus. Haven't done that for a long while since it seemed to go all unstable on me for no reason at all. Recently I started wondering if that was perhaps during the SETI@home period, since that seemed to make everything else a lot more stable by going away. So, I'm giving MCE a try again, it's such a nice screensaver ... But perhaps I can agree with Martin after all that the BeOS Matrix saver is cooler ...
Look Bonnie, I think you've made me start using the computer names more regularly. How about that?
Time to go and do a little shopping. There's an exam coming up tomorrow after all, so the candy caches need to be properly filled ... And then maybe I should review those old exam questions and see if they still look as easy ...
Oh look teddy! The same guy (judging by the writing on the floppy left in the drive) who left a lifetime of floppies in the basement left his actual Amiga 500 today! Of course, it's not left there anymore :-) ... It's not complete though, lacks RF modulator, some cables and stuff and more interesting the front of the floppy drive. And I'ev got no TV here right now, so I can't check how well it works either :-) ... Seems to have interesting modifications though, two different memory expansions were jammed in and it looks like it has a reset button as well. Someone dropping by with a TV some day would be nice :-) ...
