It's raining in the right direction.
Today feels like a day of real life. Where things kind of trundle on and you're happy about it. I went to work early, worked pretty hard for eight hours and was tired but not unhappy when I headed home. I ate, drank coffee and rested for a while, then I went and did some shopping.
A bottle of cheap orange cola
and other everyday foodstuffs
which feel nice to have.
And now it's raining pretty hard, but I'm home and dry and it's coming from the right direction
so I can have my balcony door open and listen to it.
Tired, rainy and rather happy. Rain in the right direction.
Also, I just removed 3429 rows from my entrance log, all of them created by the MSN Search bot. All hits registered within the last few days, when I last removed 1000-odd hits from the same bot. I guess they really like me!
I wonder: do I even have that many lines in the tables making up my site's content?
Five more hits while I wrote the above ...
I just crashed iPhoto by, god forbid, trying to Do Things while importing photos from my camera ... Now I know better! I shall not upset the Mighty Blue Apple God again!
Okay, what I really want to know is: what exactly is wrong with the freaking comment field in iPhoto 4? The damn thing loses focus all the bloody time. I've never used it before, but I decided to create a comment-based smart album right now and have almost regretted it already.
Seems waiting patiently for the textbox to lose focus and then clicking again allows for relatively uninterrupted typing. Now it's screwed around with album names (both editing and displaying updated ones) too. And from what I've heard iPhoto 05 isn't exactly an overwhelming miracle of updates either.
The red-eye-removal works very well, at least.
Idea:
Could MSN be trying to perform a denial of service attack on me for prefering OS X?
