I don't know what got into me.
I know exactly what got into me.
I'm just a little bit surprised, that's all.
Anyway, what happened was that Martin just put a Google-driven ad on his homepage, and all of a sudden I've signed up to AdSense to try the whole system out for myself. Perhaps I'll do what he did and just try it out for myself at first, perhaps I'll throw it right up and expose the world to the radiation at once. I figure an adbox below the externals/sub pages/siblings-box on normal content pages would be non-intrusive and perhaps once or twice serve up something interesting to visitors. We shall see.
The noteboard has erupted into a relative flood of postings and discussion recently, much to my delight. Some of the talk has concerned the post times displayed around the site. They're a mess, and also not consequent since I started modifying my own post times to local Swedish time and saving it to the same field in the database. After a little digging in the magic php function manual and some sleep I think I've come up with a solution that'll let me keep the existing times and make new ones into something better and much more flexible. Should add that to the to do-list as well ... Until then things will stay a confused mess without any applicable logic.

There was also a round of Mastermind, where I was critisised for taking so long on line five, but kept insisting on not doing a line I knew was wrong and came out correct in the end. And my opponent needed to go all the way to line seven or eight to finish, the rash thrillseeker he is.
