Last week ended up feeling pretty demanding, but despite the cold and long hours I came out of it in one piece that felt rather good about things.

And that even in spite of the fact that I got up at six yesterday to go and get a repetition of how to deal with the Monday fruit orders at work. Next week I'll handle all the online and fruit orders. That means at the very least three mornings starting at six and the others starting at seven.

Then I have my two weekend shifts to celebrate with.

If I'm lucky, they can find someone to take my weekday checkout shifts. For one thing I don't think I can finish all orders before the shifts start and for another I know for sure after last week that I shouldn't work more 12-hour days than I absolutely have to :-) ...

It may sound like I'm trying to get sympathy for my hard working hours, but I really am feeling surprisingly motivated about it. I don't know where it came from or how it happened, because in recent time I've looked at the online work as something I prefer to avoid if at all possible. Nice to be out of that, really, and hope it lasts.

Now I'm going to have lunch before heading out to see what kind of work people with my education are meant to be doing.
