To be more specific, Akrylplysch is a nicely portable toy pig of mine. I got him as a birthday present from Martin in 2000, and the little tag stuck to him said Akrylplysch (right above "hand wash"), so the choice of name was natural.
In 2001, Akrylplysch accompanied me to Hong Kong and was frightfully close to getting lost forever soon after arrival. Then he also missed the flight home, and so got to spend another year with Bonnie. In short, he's the most international pig I know.
As a side note, Akrylplysch usually doesn't wear glasses. His eyesight is probably a whole lot sharper than mine, but sometimes even a pig wants to try a new view of the world. You have to admit that they fit pretty well.
