Isn't it weird with nights like this last one? You come home late, tired and happy with the world in general. You go to bed, you lie in it and you get up at a decent time without too much trouble. When you think back you can remember some dreams. You didn't keep turning over forever. Yet it feels like time just passed by without you becoming rested in the way you wanted.

I get rest, I get things done during the days and I don't really feel sleep deprived. Yet, I don't have the feeling of having had a good night's sleep and keep thinking that the coming night I'll certainly sleep like a mountain range to make up for it. Could it be something I'm eating? Too much caffeine?

That's my best bet right now, but maybe I'm just sleep deprived ...

Or maybe I just have too many interesting things on my mind (I couldn't call them pressuring or stressful even if I wanted to pity myself).

If we could understand how we worked ... the world would be quite a bit less interesting ...

In related news I had a great time at Kristofer's place last night, watching a good film and having some even better conversation that needs to be picked up again in the near future. We wonder, is it possible to have 1 am-type far-out/deep conversations at any time of the day with enough practise? Having more of them can only be a good thing.
