Sidenote; why can't English have different words for mothers' and fathers' parents? It's just plain stupid ... Ah well, they're not the sole committors of that crime I've understood ...
Beautiful church, beautiful environments, beautiful weather, beautiful ceremony. I think this is about as good as a funeral of someone you love can get. Feel more sad now than I did before. Right before we left I was actually a bit surprised I felt just like we were going for a "normal" grandparent visit or something.
Now, of course, I feel much more touched. But it's in a good way. It's the way I want it to be and I feel I'm gaining something from it ...
