Yay! In five hours I'll finally get the keys to the new apartment. Can't really believe I'm moving in two days' time, but that's the way it is. I really should go and see if I can find some more boxes to pack in, and then
get some more packing done!
But for now I'm having breakfast and party shuffle, thank you. I've got a cold anyway, mustn't overwork myself ...
Because of the move, I expect to spend some time relatively starved of internet connectivity. I will sign up for a new DSL provider as soon as the phone number is moved (which should be tomorrow if I'm not mistaken, but who knows with Telia), but I'm at least a little bit jaded by now and don't expect too speedy a delivery (even if I don't need a modem delivered or anything this time. Bring your own!). In any case, if things work out nicely I'll get 16 times the current speed, a static IP and the fuzzy warm feeling inside of not supporting the major player, all for about 23 crowns more per month than I pay right now. In an ideal case I'll even be able to use my current DSL for a while at the new place, since of course Telia couldn't disconnect it right on the day I wanted. That would have been too customer-oriented I guess.
If things work out, that is. If I'm unlucky I won't be able to sign up for the new guys until Telia get their fingers out of their ass and close my current subscription. Jaded, yes ...
