Drawing

I've always liked drawing.

And for about as long as I've had computers I've wanted to draw using them too.

I've never actively practised either type of drawing much. I've never read thick books, taken courses or contemplated the subtelities of perspective much.

Actually, what I've always done most is doodle. In the margins of my school notebooks.

Quite frequently outside of the margins as well, taking whole pages over with figures, shapes and stylish words, leaving the odd actual note trying desperately to hold its own.

Stuff like this was always the part I liked best about my notes. Few things have made the transition to digital formats though so the above will have to stand alone as an example, at least for now. There's plenty more where that came from, I assure you ...

After I got my Wacom tablet and got around some accustomation and customisation problems I've begun drawing/doodling with more regularity using computers. A mouse only worked decently for me when I was playing around in Amiga 500-type resolutions, I've never had the skills to make much of it in anything more. Only time will tell if it becomes a truly lasting habit or not, but at least I do it now, and proof appears around the site from time to time (pretty much whenever something comes out even half decent).

Hi!
