Last day before leaving for Hong Kong. Naturally I haven't done half as much of anything I might have done before a trip like this, and I'm annoying myself thinking about that and fighting the thought that I might somehow miss something relatively important.
I alternate between many states on the gifts I've bought for people, all the way from thinking it's not enough and too bad things to thinking I've spent too much (possibly also on too bad things).
Yes, I am getting on my own nerves. Getting on my way will do me good, that's what I think. Nothing to clear your mind like actually getting moving.
No matter how little I like it, getting on planes, through customs and stuff will mean shutting Pomum down. It's always silly stuff like that that kills any possible uptime records :-) ... The day Safari saves tabs between sessions I'll have much less of a problem with this. I might as well shut it down tonight and pack it, saving one more thing to do in the morning. I'm not leaving that early, but early enough that I won't have too much time to laze around after getting up and doing those things I've already left for tomorrow.
Otherwise I've been reading plenty of Piro's rants at Megatokyo, started reading Demonology 101 and also tried to shave some fat off of my mp3 collection. Bonnie wants me to bring some music, and I didn't feel like filling almost half the available hard drive space in Pomum with it so I've gone through it and hacked unimportant bits off wherever I could bring myself to it. It's still larger than I want to wield though, so I guess I'll try and pick parts of it (never a great skil of mine).
Anyway, back to Megatokyo again. It's very dangerous stuff. It does things to your brain. It makes me want to draw, not to mention get a good scanner and a drawing tabled. And I'm not alone. Now I know where Niclas inspiration came from a year and a half or so ago. We'll see what happens, whatever it is I'm sure it'll be good clean fun.
Right, enough beating around the bush. Let's pull a few pairs of gigabytes of music over the airwaves and see get something else to do to pass time ...
Yes, more practical people might connect a network cable and transfer things at twice the speed or so. I'm not one of those people when I'm not really in a hurry, okay? For the record, all the fun made the fans of Pomum go on. Uh, okay, just as I wrote that they went off again. You never really hear them for long ...
