"Michael Jackson probably knows more about beer than anyone in the world."

Apparently, there are more Jacksons than the musical one that seem a bit out of this world ...

I want to start with a late happy birthday to Martin. Even if I posted one on his message board and congratulated him in person (it was a nice evening) I should have put one here too. It would have been nice ...

Even though I've come so far as to breaking up spaghetti before cooking it I guess sharing a pot with macaroni and believing that they might just be reasonably finished at the same time was naive. The result seems to be overcooked macaroni (the size they only usually grow to in school environments) and 80-90-odd percent finished spaghetti pieces. Well well, the wise men say anything goes under a thick enough layer of ketchup ... To add excitement, I've got Pomum on the table very near said ketchup layer. Professionals don't need safety nets ...

I began the day with some kind of vague idea/hope (I know myself!) of doing some travel preparations today, no matter what kind (but preferably purchasing stuff). Of course, nothing much came out of that. I started great by running my usual round in the sunshine. Last time I ran it was about 28 degrees in the sun so today felt comparatively cool and nice. My left knee started protesting 2/3 of the way through though. It did get a bit bothered after last time I ran as well, but today it was much more. Now it aches and strains a bit whenever I bend it. I hope it's just from lack of regular exercise. Not that it'll be regular for very long right now, heading off to Hong Kong will ruin any started pattern quite nicely in the beginning of next week :-) ...

In any case, after running and polishing myself afterwards the most good I've done is sorting a little bit of laundry and cutting up all the pieces for The Awful Green Things From Outer Space. Henrik gave it to me for birthday, but we haven't had time to try it yet. Despite a relatively thick rulebook it seems simple enough. I'll post a page about it as soon as we have had a go or two.

Okay, almost time to head to work ... Since so little preparation happened today I won't make any illusions about tomorrow (when work starts half an hour earlier and all). There's always Friday an onward. Plenty of time, yes sir ...
