Today's dose of political involvement:
Realized last night to what an extent I seem to be going to be doing something all the time. The silly part is that I also want to see myself as someone who knows how to take it easy and just relax. I spent the day at mom's place yesterday, and that really is much better than average. I painted, talked, browsed the newspaper and watched the news. I even solved crosswords. And I didn't even have a thought about sitting down in front of a computer.
Really, I could do well in stepping away from a computer to do nothing just as well as doing something ...
in the middle of all the PC hardware, monitor behind it, huge keyboard in front of it (on my lap) and mice to the side, sits a quiet Mac laptop ... Kind of cool to do work with a Matrix screensaver flowing behind the screen ... This kind of things should earn one points in those geek tests ...
