I've got a problem: when I'm going to sleep, I expect my neighbour to make noise that will disturb me. I listen for it, catch on to the smallest thing I hear and let it annoy me. My noise tolerance when about to sleep has never been too good (of course, when not meant to sleep I can do it in almost any situation), but actually being disturbed a few times seems to have made it much worse. And most of the time the sounds aren't very loud either, if it was a different situation or I didn't latch on to them I'd probably be able to fall asleep to them without any problem. This is something I really feel a need to work on.
Those times when the sounds have actually been loud have had an advantage in a way too, because I've become tough enough to go and complain about it :-) ...
I'd really like to improve my noise tolerance somehow ...
