First online game in a while (as usual, one could almost say), and I feel sooo rusty. Played it on Pomum as well, and the mouse speed and other unfamiliarity factors didn't exactly make me better either. I was close to defeated when my opponent told me I was dead (which was more than true enough) and then suddenly left the game. Don't know what happened, but I would have been annoyed to heck and back if I was on his side and it was some kind of incident ... I still haven't had a single problem with game stability and flow on my side of things though. Practise, practise ...

Have just logged my first few games of WCIII over Battle.net. Should be enough to pass the "2 hours in first 48 hours past registration", but just to be sure I'll play some more today/tomorrow :-) ... I did create a Battle.net account pretty soon after getting the game, but I didn't get around to actually playing online. Then I guess the account was deleted and someone else snatched my nickname because when I tried to log on today I was told my password was invalid. Oh well, I got a decent nick anyway (MadFred instead of MadF that I got the first time), and then I was off to try my luck!
I've only played one-on-one quick matches so far, with an even distribution between winning and being properly beaten up. It feels good, I might come back for more with some regularity in the future :-) ... And I haven't experienced any lag at all yet, not a single hiccup. Very nice.
