In other news, this is page 300 on the site. 300 in about a year, that's not too bad, is it?

Who needs more powerful computers anyway? Really? I mean, right now I'm running Winamp3 (playing a playlist of all my songs), editing this in Opera 7 with 23 tabs open, using Trillian and scanning for spyware using the latest version of Ad-Aware. All on a 700 MHz Pentium 3 running Windows XP. Sure, the process load meter goes up, but there aren't any problems. Of course there are worse cases now and then, but it's still a fact that this computer it pretty far behind state of the art and not suffering in any way from it.

Okay, except if I'd suddenly want to play state of the art games at good resolutions of course. But the fact is that most games I throw at it (not that they're as many as they used to be though) do run perfectly acceptable for my standards.

Those are of course 700 MHz standards, but enough circle reasoning :-) ...
