Electronic Games

I've always been mostly a gamer when it comes to computer usage. At least I've always thought of myself as one for as long as I've thought in terms like that. I've done some rather weak attempts at learning different programming languages, pixeling and other things, and lately a heap of webpages. Still, I've always considered myself a gamer first and foremost. And a single player gamer at that. There was the occassional two-player game, but even that's been uncommon compared to pure single-player stuff.

I'm also a pretty stubborn player, and I'm reluctant to put away a game for too long if I haven't yet completed the single player part of it. And then when I'm through save the saved games of course! Call it trophy collection or whatever you want :-) ...

I still like to think of myself as someone who plays a lot of games and knows a lot about them, but it's dawned on me that lately I've been doing a lot of other things more than I've played games. Somehow the rest of the world has snuck up behind me and slowly stolen away ever-increasing bits of my time for its own insidious purposes. For example I still haven't finished Black & White, even though I've got to the last level and have had the game for a year (a year today I think. How cool!). That isn't like I used to be, and I can miss the feeling of being totally into a game, being completely focused and pushing straight through to the end.

Yes, there may be quite a bit of nostalgia involved in thinking up these feelings :-) ... Still, I did play more games then, and I don't now, but I'd still like to.

End of ranting.

Pick a game from the list and move on.

Thank you.
