Bonnie told me how she thinks this website has gone dull lately, and I really agree with that. Updates have been much too short and too far inbetween for my liking, and I really haven't got a reason for not updating more. I've gone through phases like this before, so I'm not really worried I'll let the site die completely or anything, but it's damn well time to get back to updating more often again. I've had more ideas for stuff to do on the technical/admin side as well, and I don't lack subjects to rant about either. Just need to get going again.

Don't think it'll be a problem.

Getting back to the writing style/format I was using toward the end of my old site would be cool as well ...

... just get up to steam and things like that might come back naturally too ...

Right!

Today I've exercised my routing skills a bit, setting up an interesting router for dad that wouldn't let us log in with the default user name and password supplied in all available manuals. Very curious.

Would have been well beyond just curious if it hadn't been for the fact that the router actually works otherwise and does let the connected computers (or computer actually, the other one needs a new cable) surf the Internet. Everything just would be a tad nicer if we were allowed to touch the settings as well ... Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated, can't seem to find anything similar on the net so far.

Bonnie and I have also set up and started to use an additional channel for communication, which is very nice.

And sorry, it's private as well. Members only. Two members, and application for new ones is rather closed. In fact, even if you find it you won't see much.

Congratulations.
