It's Easter, it's Snarl-up meeting and there's a new Linux on the other box! Good things come in threes, right? Last time I had just got the other PC and brought it along, only that time in a dead-but-not-yet-diagnosed state. This time, it works and sits about half a meter away from this one, the two merrily sharing Robert's for-the-occassion-moved kitchen table. Right now it's running a nice Tux-in-a-spaceship-screensaver for its new KDE for its new Mandrake. Quite a lot smoother to install and set up than Debian, that's for sure.
We've even got a bit done on Snarl-up stuff. Even I've got a bit done on Snarl-up stuff, that's even more surprising :-) ... A little more story has been written, things have been sketched and pixeled, and even some programming has been done. Plus a good deal of good sleep hasn't been had, as usual, so Monday night is going to be a really early one :-) ...
A lot of Japanese pop has been downloaded as well, downloaded and added to a long, looping and random playlist, played all through the night and day from a slow PC that stutters if you surf too hard while playing the music :-) ... Japanese is pretty nice, something Niclas made me start to realize during the last meeting by playing Ayumi Hamasaki in his car and then, at my request, filling up my hard drive with quite a lot of her creations. Can't say I've listened to everything carefully, or that I like everything as much, but Evolution is a very nice song. Varies a bit depending on how many times you've heard it in the last 24 hours of course :-P ...
And right now I get all sorts of fun graphics garbage whenever I save an update to this page. Must be too late at night and too little sleep ...
