Had a day of doubtful technological aptitude yesterday. First managed to twist my bike's rear wheel into an odd shape by breaking and turning too sharp. The resulting ground contact somehow made the Palm go into debug mode, which I didn't really appreciate of course. Worse was that I had both a lunchbox and a laptop in my backpack, and I had no idea how I'd landed in relation to them either ...

Handed the bike in and headed, on foot, to check the situation on the computer and lunch front. Fortunately things were great there, no harm done. Even the Palm only needed a soft reset to get back in the game again.

After getting the bike back in the afternoon (and it had just needed the cheaper treatment to get back to life, not the expensive complete wheel replacement) I displayed one more bit of technical non-thinking by bringing a network card and the wrong kind of cable to connect two computers to Henrik. At least we got a network card installed, that's always good, right?

Once home again I contended with ripping the troublesome burner out of Terminus before going to bed. We'll see if that fixes the problems I've had lately, even with it disabled in Windows. I don't like system failures ...

And today it's workday again. Nice to have Saturdays take the place of Mondays as the start of the work week ...
