Have done the required pushing, lifting and pulling of things for the radiator inspection tomorrow (or on Monday). Exactly between 07:00 and 16:00 tomorrow (or on Monday) somebody will come around and change radiator vents and check for leaks. For this they want about one meter of space between said radiators and anything else. Don't worry, I like having lots ot stuff in the middle of the room for a while!
Actually, I could probably furnish around this if I had to, there are positive sides to having more space behind the desk. I don't need to have monitor raised above the desk on a stool to get enough space behind it when the desk is out from the wall like this. And moving also gave me interesting ideas about having the computer in front of the sofa, that definitely feels worth thinking more about ...

The iBook is visiting me again. I'm typing this in Mozilla 1.2 for OS X as a matter of fact, and my bias/love/like for OS X and iBooks hasn't decreased one bit over the time I've been away from it ... Someday I'll get me a laptop, and it'll be runnin' OS X all day long ...
Lugging stuff about had another unexpected little bonus, I rediscovered a whole pack of unused blank CDs on a shelf. Not a bad reward for the effort. Now if only the burner would like to work too ... I think it's the combination of XP and the burnern that might be the real source of the problem but of course, being me and all, I still haven't given up completely. There's always hope (the hope of saving money by not having to get a new burner in this case :-) ...
