Writing this to document my first experiences with Biltema's stylus/cleaner pen/cleaning/screen protection package. Seems to do everything as advertised, but not exactly anything beyond that. The protective plastic is thicker than I expected, darkens the screen quite a bit, and the stylus/pen makes a nylon rubbing kind of sound when used on it. Not exactly annoying, just a new thing. The general feel is much harder than with the plastic I used before. An for some reason there are much clearer spots in the plastic here and there. Maybe something to do with fat and/or air? Not annoying enough to make me try reseating the plastic, not yet anyway :-) ... Sign recognition seems to work just as usual by the way.

This stylus replacement of course doesn't fit in the holder. Actually it's sized like any pen. The opposite end can be used for cleaning, something I haven't tried yet. Feels like a real pen end could come in handy more often, at least until it runs dry ...
And those clear spots are air bubbles alright. So maybe I should try reseating the plastic, it's not on completely straight either ...
Okay, got it on straighter now. If it's better or not I won't say :-) ... Many more small bubbles now ... Might look a bit less clean as well. Suppose it's not really made for reseating like this. Better keep it until it's worn enough to switch for another. That could be a while of course, my last home-made protection stayed on for a year or so and wasn't that much worse from it. I expect much more from something I've paid for :-) ...
