Another day of work. Felt rather long and pretty short at the same time, the way that's becoming standard for the 8:30 workdays. A grand total of 45 minutes breaktime helps a lot though, once you're past the first break it's always pretty fast. Plus customers kept piling up so you didn't have time to think about much else anyway. Still, I got away in time! For the first time ever we had a customer rush that actually subsided just in time for going home! And I was completely ready to stay as long as it was required as well, so everything felt even nicer when someone came up to me and said "you can go now" just out of the blue.
I've noticed, to my complete lack of horror, that there are a lot of banana flies living in my kitchen, in the area of the sink and garbage bin (okay, I admit, it's still just a bag!). Assumed it had to do with lack of emptying the garbage and/or washing up in the past few days. So this morning I took out the garbage, and now I've cleared up the sink nicely as well. Still plenty of flies left, but maybe they just need a little time to run out of food ...
Most important of all, today I got mail commenting on my site again! As usual it's about the old site, the day I get my first mail concerning this site I'll be celebrating :-) ... Just mention it to remind everyone on how nice it is to get feedback in any form about anything you put up on the web. Use guestbooks, mail links and anything else, it's always as much fun to get mail! I know I'm pretty bad at using them myself, but this works as a reminder for me too. No more than human :-) ...
