To make a short story even shorter: it's too short! Puns aside, I do think so. Seven missions is hardly time to get to know the units, you didn't even get all of them until the very last mission and that's no time to experiment and try them out. The sense of urgency at the advance of the Legion it had at the start got lost somewhere along the way as well. This running around and awakening the heroes of the land is all well, but someone forgot to tell you what the Legion was doing. Is it still coming your way, or did it stop advancing for some reason? And a few more events between disliking the humans and orcs and siding with them could have been nice too. And did the Legion really kill everything in the whole rest of the world? I don't like the thought of all of Azeroth being totally destroyed, but knowing Blizzard it probably isn't after all. There's always someone left to fight another day ...
And yes, of course the in-game cuts still aren't really that cinematic, yadda-yadda-yadda :-) ...
