Remember classic analogue games? Those you didn't need a computer, or even anything electronic to play?
If you don't, poor poor you.
Games are so much fun, so much different from stale computer stuff, so much more creative than computer games. There's always been a lot of games in my house, we had shelves of different board games and others in the living room and for a long time a birthday (parental ones excluded) or Christmas without a new game would have been considered rather strange. Then computers came honking for attention and gradually got it. Computer games snuck their way into the wishlists, little by little pushing boring old games out. We kept getting some roleplaying material and some collectible card games (Guardians being a wonderful, underappreciated example), but otherwise our non-computer gameplaying generally ended up on hold from lack of interest.
Henrik deserves a lot, all of it really, of credit for reviving my interest in games, with force and to great joy for everyone involved.
