I often like the things I cook.
I often improvise on the spot.
I rarely recall the components afterward.
Sometimes I remember to write things down.
Below are what I did the last two times I remembered to write.
Bread syrup is a pretty nice sweetener, I like how it adds its own character.
And in the picture, we see the following:
I fried the above on somewhat high temperature for a while, then put in:
Then I just stirred everything and let it simmer for perhaps 20 minutes.
Served with pasta (with a bit of cheese on top for good measure). It came out a bit spicier than I expected, but not in any bad way. I think the ginger surprised me (also, that innocent looking last curry powder in the jar was perhaps a little larger than it looked).
