No matter how fun work is, one of the best things still has to be that you appreciate being free from it so much more after you've been doing if for a while. It's only been three weeks in my case, and it's had a good share of early homegoings, but it still feels very good to be free from the early mornings. The skies are blue, the sun is shining, I'm drinking tea and eating sandwiches, and I don't need to be anywhere at all all day.

I was going to write "and I don't need to do anything at all all day", but then my brain immediately screamed "Clean up this mess!" at me, so I had to chance my sentence to avoid feelings of guilt ...

Oh it's nice to eat sandwiches for breakfast and have a fridge and freezer full of nice stuff to fill yourself with when you get hungry again, and knowing you won't be too tired to think or cook and just resort to more sandwiches when you get hungry again. And if it should come to that I've always got food from yesterday to fall back on ...

Whoops, that made the thought of washing up demand attention. Change of subject ...

Oh, I wonder if I should end breakfast with some ice cream? I got chocolate chip ice cream yesterday to celebrate but I didn't get to use it then. Mom called and asked me to help move some furniture at her place, so I had strawberries and some nice wine there instead of ice cream at home. Not a bad replacement, and all the more ice cream left for now ...

First thing on the planning list for the day: finally move all my email and settings over to Windows XP. I refreshed my mind as to where the email is stored and noticed that I've got over 200 megabytes of email in my collections. Not bad at all! I wonder what the heck everything is. Some research into that might prove interesting ...
