It is the first Sunday of advent. It is reasonably cold and quite dark outside, but more importantly the decorative lights are in place and there is a good amount of wonderful snow all over the city. Sister A and I went to the Christmas market in Haga, working our way through streets full of stalls offering plentiful tastes, gift ideas and marching bands performing Go west, all with winterly cold toes and cheeks. Then onto the tram back home for tea, orange gingerbread and saffron buns. A Sunday tremendously well spent, if I may say so myself.

I am getting into a great mood for a calm and cheerful Christmas, feeling no stress or pressure over gifts but looking forward to finding the ones I am going to give away.
