I have had a great weekend. Dear sister A stepped off the train on Friday night, and from there on we kept just the right level of busy. Chinese food and a great film rounded out the Friday nicely, after which I slept a great deep sleep.

Saturday started when we woke up with a nice solid breakfast. Then, we headed out into the sunshine and did not get back until long after sunset. We walked to a wonderful ceramics store, where the enthusiastic shopkeeper educated us about good ceramic goods and some of the dangers of global competition, paid a long and interesting visit to a possible place of artistic education (during which we had coffee with lots of great home made cookies) before walking downhill for some well-deserved lunch. Then we went for some nice tram rides before heading underground, spending the rest of the evening at the jazz club Nefertiti listening to a great performance by Eric Bibb. Great, warm soulful music of a kind I would never get around to listening to myself.

Sunday morning, and antoher solid breakfast, noting the sun was still shining and that the temperature seemed a bit higher than on Saturday. We started our day out in the best possible way: noon coffee and wonderful ice cream at Lejonet och björnen. Thus strengthened we walked to Avenyn and spent some nice hours browsing the collections at Röhnska. Arriving at the end of the exhibitions, we started wondering if perhaps we were a bit hungry after all. Deciding that we were, we dug into the cafeteria's taco buffet.

Like so many others, I tend to feel that it is almost impossible to overeat on tacos and similar food. But yesterday afternoon, when I was out running, I came the closest I ever have to feeling there is such a thing as too many tacos.

After filling ourselves up, we still had time for a bit more of inner city strolling in the still shining sun, including a visit to Science fiction-bokhandeln. But then, it was time to say goodbye on the train, and for me to stroll home in a somewhat dreamy mood, go for a run and start to decompress a weekend very well spent.

I got myself some new tea too - one blend of good old earl grey and one roiboos flavoured with cherries and vanilla. The latter is an especially pleasant surprise. I think I will use it up pretty quickly as an evening drink.

Today has been a nice day too. It really felt like I had been away for a long time as I was heading to work. That is almost always a good sign for the day's productivity and focus, right? And I did get things done. Also, I stayed away from both cookies and coffee.

I hope to keep that up all week.

No promises though.

Some nice photos were taken, too. Perhaps they will find their way online sometime soon.
