And the first week of work is over! Time to celebrate!

Actually, I mean to celebrate by staying at home in front of the computer all night and then sleep for as long as I can manage :-) ... I caught up on some good sleep last night, but I'd still like some more before next week starts. The end of the week really was a breeze, and Tuesday was the longest and most work-heavy day by far just as Katarina said. The good thing is that even Tuesday is a lot less stressful than I remember any day being back in the days when I had less experience. There's always time for lunch break if I want it :-) ...

Today I spent about half my time stamping, addressing and posting application forms for people who have reported interest in shopping online during the past year (almost). If all of those reply too fast and are too curious, the last week might get a bit intense :-) ... But I don't think there's a large risk for that. I did a similar thing the first year I worked, and as far as I can remember it didn't show in the number of shoppers at all. What did affect customer numbers is the holiday period ending, and I think that'll happen the week Katarina comes back or the week after that. I'm safe :-) ...

I'm writing this from Windows XP on Terminus. Have just installed Trillian and other essential communication software, so now there's a much larger chance that I'll be using XP than ever before. Eventually I mean to migrate all my time (or very close to that) from 98 to XP, but that might take a while. Nice to keep 98 handy in cases of DOS need and stuff like that anyway.
