Today I worked until about 17:30, then went and did adult things like buy fire alarms, look at fridges and freezers and grocery shopping. My fridge and, especially, freezer and I are having some serious trust issues so I have started looking at replacements while there is still some trust left to lose.
After doing all that and getting home, I was surprised to realise that the time was well past 19:00. With warm sandwiches, tea, chocolate and Eureka, I think I have spent the remainder of the evening pretty well.
Once you are in kitchen appliance mode, it is not hard to also start thinking about that gas stove (and oven) which will need a replacement before the end of the year. Spending money really is not a difficult thing to do. The hard bit is figuring out what you want for it and how much to spend on the things you decide you want.
So I am going to be doing some research on fridges and freezers. Anyone with opinions on the matter is more than welcome to make his or her thoughts heard.
(And people have started getting, using and writing about Ipads. More spending on things I want ...)
My Easter, too, was really well spent in the good company of family and friends in sunny Örebro. Dad and I even went for a run after all the Easter food. A nice, relaxed run in some wonderful evening sunlight and with my sister biking along with us.
Late on Sunday night I stepped off the train, returning home from Örebro. Where home was, for the very first time, Gothenburg instead of Lund. I am going to remember and enjoy these kinds of small novelties as often and for as long as I can.
Monday I cleaned up the apartment some, cleaning out my head a bit in the process. Then I went for a great long run, covering more than 20 kilometers on surprisingly light and energetic feet.
