Puzzled

Here is something I, to my own surprise, spent a chunk of my weekend on:

Finished 1000 piece puzzle.

The puzzle re-surfaced among the things I unpacked and, according to my recent habit, I was faced with the question of keeping it or getting rid of it.

All of a sudden, I had broken the plastic and was starting to separate and sort pieces.

Just like this was something I do often
as opposed to the last time being, what, ten-fifteen years ago?

A surprisingly long puzzling session followed, well into the Saturday night, and late-but-not-indecently-so on Sunday I was suddenly finished.

Yes, it was odd.

Right now, I am typing this on Pomum. My phone is balanced on the handle of one of the windows, a position where it suddenly finds solid 3G connectivity to share over bluetooth. Somewhat liberating, but naturally Aura (my Imac) is too far away to pick up bluetooth. Things are never perfect ... But as of right now, I am pretty happy to have uploaded the above photo to Flickr in way less than ... a minute or two.

(I am actually sharing Pomum's bluetooth connection over wifi, and Aura is connected to that. But something must be off there too, because while Aura can see Pomum it can not get online. Like I said, I still am satisfied for the moment.)
