Yes, I was a little skeptic about the feel of the story at first. But it sure did pick up a lot in the end, it was nicely subtle and wonderfully free of a happy ending. Blizzard once again proves they know what they're doing when it comes to plotwriting. I still could have enjoyed a little more talk/briefing stuff sometimes, but maybe I'll be won over completely by the time I complete another campaign ... Somehow I had forgot Blizzard's like of cool endings and actually thought there would be something unnecessarily happy coming, I'm glad it was just me. And our "hero"'s gradual descent into madness, the ignoring of the prophet, I really thought there would be a wisening up and heeding of the prophet's warning in the end. But the plot managed to avoid all stupid clichés like that and became a whole lot more interesting from it.
