Last night was a nice, traditional family birthday celebration with nice, traditional birthday food (barbecue!) and of course strawberry and whipped cream cake. That kind of cake has been pretty much a requirement ever since 1980 :-) ...
And there were cool presents as well. I wore a blue shirt I got yesterday today, and have already put the premiere stain on it :-) ... Stina's family provided me with two more books, so now I've just got to get into reading books again. So much to read, now even books that are gifts. That deserves some serious getting down to business. Gustav injected my CD collection with some fresh blood as well: Etienne de Crecy's Tempovision (including the videos for Am I Wrong and Scratched, wohooo!), Bomb the Bass' Clear and last but not least BS 2000's Simply Mortified. Proof of how much cool stuff you can find in bargain bins if you just look properly. Haven't listened to any of them yet, but at least I've watched the videos once. I've always wished artists would include their videos on the albums, and now I get one of the coolest just like that, whee! Then there were lamps, a desk chair and Warcraft III as well. I'd better set up a strict schedule of reading, music listening and game playing as soon as possible ...
Today we visited grandma (mom's) and had more great food as well as heavy rain. That ended with great timing as we were finishing lunch and was replaced with slightly cool, fresh smelling, air and great sunshine, so we got our traditional post-food walk in the woods as usual. I got a really cool looking yin/yang pocket flask and two Triss lottery tickets. One of them was 25 crowns (a new ticket), so there's still chance of a big hit :-) ...
In other news, this site has got some visitors who came in through the Mandrake User Board, which I find very cool :-) ...
Tomorrow and the next two days I'm going to drop by Parkhallen to get re-introduced to the routines of handling the online orders so I won' t screw up completely in the coming three weeks. As usual, motivation is a little low the evening just before work. Good to know everything's as usual :-) ...
