Bonnie wanted to try Black & White today and it turned out the game crashed immediately when we tried to start it. It didn't feel all that unfamiliar actually, but it was ages since I played last so I'm not completely sure. So, a reinstall seemed to be in order, and it was also a nice opportunity to move the install to the new game partition (yay, I didn't even have the larger hard drive when I first installed the game!).
Uninstall was nice and fast, but asking no questions about keeping files so I just hoped it left my creature and saves as they were. Well, turned out it did leave some files behind, but none of them had anything to do with my creature or saves. Oh well ...
So I played a bit while Bonnie was out, just to make sure it worked as supposed :-) ... Turns out it does, and I actually feel interested in starting to play again. It's just such a nice feeling to be in control of the world :-) ... And I think I want to take things even slower this time around, raising my creature much more before leaving the first world and really trying extremely hard to finish as many quests as possible. Hopefully some improved raising can make later levels a little less tideous as well ...
Not sure if I'm going to play as purely good god this time as well, we'll see ... A taste of the dark side might be fun ...
