Average spam quality seems to have improved recently.
Provided there can be such a thing as improvement in unwanted advertising.
A while back, there was a long period where I regularly got messages offering to help me grow huge tomatoes.
Of all things.
Against all odds it was not a thinly veiled offer of pills or something, but about actual vegetable growing.
I found that a nice step up, aside from the fact that I would never want to buy things from companies which don't leave me alone unless I ask for them.
But today I noticed a message I found even more entertaining.
It informed me of

"speed-of-commerce" cattle tags.
Specifically designed for use in "speed-of-commerce" movement of animals and in auction barns. And no infrastructure changes are necessary.
Why even pay for a mass mailing of this? Is there even a remote chance of finding an interested recipient who would not find out about this through other means?
In any case, I am looking forward to more misguided niche offerings. How about tools for industrial aluminium production? Deep sea drilling? Sheep shearing? The possibilites are endless.
And if the entertainment value should drop, I demand immediate cessation of mass emailing.
There, I sent the company advertised an email telling them whoever sold them my address or mailed to me for them is not worth the money. It would be fun if they replied, but I will not count on it. Just doing my little part to tell companies they hurt their own image by being associated with spam.
