A late happy midsummer greeting to everyone! We celebrated at Martin's place by watching roughly 6 and a half hours of the Simpsons second season. No interruptions, except short bathroom visits and the odd sandwich making. Not bad at all ...
Or, I guess, pretty bad in every way ...
We actually did watch some real midsummer celebrations as well. Furthermore, we spent about two hours waiting for said celebrations to begin. Bonnie says that was the real achievement of the day, and I'm inclined to agree :-) ... She got to see proper pole raising and lots of people dancing around the pole as well, so I definitely think it was worth it. Especially since I can't remember when I last saw people dancing around the pole myself.
Oh, time for some breakfast! And we have a season to finish as well!
