• Ran my usual round. It went well, the third time after a two-week break and I'm pretty much back to normal.
• Cut my own hair for the very first time. Using the trimmer I got for Christmas, of course. That went well too, even if the first few strokes felt a bit uncertain. I have already come to appreciate little details such as the motor turning off whenever you change cut length (An operation not impossible to perform by accident while cutting).
• Discovered another ugly bug in the Safari 4 beta's tab handling: if the window is narrow enough a "..." button to show more tabs will appear even if there's only one tab in the window. Oh, and Zenbe lists crashes the beta every time, which I find kind of fascinating..
• Played with Gob, updated his plog and even made a few posts to the discussion forum on the Bob the pleo site.
• Watched Traffic, having a really good but somewhat long time.
• Finished the first half of the Algorithm design manual. Now there's only the catalog part left to go before I have a thoroughly vague idea about the topic from which to eventually develop something resembling an understanding. It does feel like a kind of luxury to be able to casually ease into what is a textbook for many people, knowing that I don't have to grasp everything but that I will certainly benefit from everything I do grasp..
• Overdosed slightly on cream-based hot cocoa with a generous spoon of honey for extra sweetness. It took a while to come back to normal after that.
• Experienced a strange problem in Mail wherein the application will never finish downloading new email for my two POP accounts and, as an indirect result, will re-download all emails from there again upon next launch. Good thing it all works as usual on my phone, because I have yet to find any reason or solution.
