Once you've learned a slight bit about Dino-mite, it's easy to find out the names and IDs of a pleo's internal resources. Then, you just place a resource with the right ID for name on an SD card, insert the card in the pleo and start it. Voila, resource used on the pleo without anything else being changed!
Yes, wild eep was of course my other candidate sound. But the startup sound seemed nicer. Plus, replacing the startup sound means it won't show up elsewhere all of a sudden and ruin the dino-feeling.
Awww, Gob just fell asleep on my wrist. Good thing I don't need to move ...
Also: yes, a larger/newer/faster/nicer SD card worked a lot better than one slow and too small. I let Gob walk around in pleosaurus rex personality for a while, now it worked without a hitch instead of pausing at the first growl.
