Ten days during which
- ... I've earned grownup points by signing up for a loan. It seems to have brought back some of my old penny-pinching and economy-worrying reflexes. But I think that will pass, and the only way it will is by letting a few months go by and see how the actual numbers end up. I should still be on the right side of the line most of the time :-) ... Various details keep bothering me right now, but I still think that what I really need to do is take it easy and see my actual costs. It's much too easy and unproductive to get all worked up beforehand, especially when you do have margins and most likely not much to worry about.
- ... I've practiced my touch typing seriously for the first time ever. I'm focusing on accuracy rather than speed, and I'm making improvements which at least are noticeable to myself. Practising typing is now somewhere in the area of Tetris - fun for the fingers and certain parts of the brain, relaxing for the rest. Another good side is of course that any typing whatsoever during the days can become a fun challenge if my mood is right.
- ... my cold has very gradually worn away. It never got very bad, but it's kept me from running and I feel like I haven't given my body a challenge in ages.
- ... I've spent a weekend with my siblings visiting, watching interesting movies (during the Fantastic film festival) and various other cultural expressions (during Kulturnatten). Great times all round!
- ... I've had another of those almost suspiciously good Tuesdays. The kind which simply melts away any worries you may have. I can't imagine what my economy-worry-reflex would have been like if I hadn't had that Tuesday first ...
I just have to listen to Feelgood inc ...
