I just bought DoubleTake and have put together a huge and somewhat distorted panorama of our yard. It sure is a nice feeling to be able to download software, try it for five minutes and then immediately be able to buy and unlock it fully within as many additional minutes.

This week I discovered and started reading The secret history of Star Wars, a free book about the creation of the Star Wars universe. It's somewhere around 400 pages long and very well written, deeply investigating just when and how various developments occured and what seems to have been decided about the story at various points. I always find it interesting to get to know how and from where creators have got their ideas and inspiration, so the book is very right for me. It kind of makes me want to write fiction, again. It also gave me new insight into the direction from which George Lucas came to directing and writing which explains a lot about Star Wars to me. So, I find it a good read and will most likely go through all of it.
And, I'm amazed at the amount of work put into the book.
Yesterday I also finished the fifth Sandman collection book. Almost halfway through now, and of course deeply enjoying every page.
If "joy" can be considered an appropriate word for taking in the more grisly passages ...
