On the same topic, Martin informed me that I can indeed listen to podcasts on my shuffle. I just needed to work a bit for it. The first thing to do was to set the shuffle to be in non-shuffle mode. The second was dragging the podcasts to the shuffle in iTunes. For some reason I just ended up with an empty playlist if I made one with all podcasts and tried to sync it, but dragging them onto the shuffle after that worked. Kind of screwy, but I'm happy there is a way to bring Late night cocoa and other things on walks and such.
In fact, the sun is shining and Ellen is out on one of her own. I think I might go for one too.
