Ellen and I started the day by biking to a furniture store in Staffanstorp to have a look at couches, sofas, armchairs and the like. We're mainly after a nice sofa bed so we can accomodate guests a bit better. They didn't have all that much in that way on offer, but the prices felt a little bit high for us, so maybe that was for the best. It's not every day you sit in so many expensive things.
So we made our way back home over the windy plains again, carrying two pieces of glassware as our, sharply discounted, booty. Lunch followed, and now Ellen is making some apple pie while I ... well, sit here and type this. Perhaps we'll make another furniture excursion tomorrow. There is at least one larger furniture store out at the shopping centre Nova where, incidentally, German everything-electronic-chain Media Markt opened this week. Other things on our to-get-sometime-list include a decent sound system and another computer, so a Media Markt visit feels motivated.
Now, I think our apple pie will be finished any second. Bring on the coffee!
