I hit a kind of wall. I started on the sixth chapter of Settlers DS, and when I tried to make my first save it froze up. Poof, just like that, and my Settlers motivation for the day seemingly evaporated all of a sudden.
I looked at Aura, checked mail and newsfeeds, and there suddenly wasn't anything in particular lured my attention.
Now, this is a great thing, I've wanted to get there more often. What I should have done is take a few more breaths, perhaps a walk to the sofa, and something productive to do would probably have popped right up.
Instead I fell into checking Slashdot and a bunch of linked stories. I wound up reading a pretty interesting but still very long and time-consuming article on difficult games, and didn't get out until now, when it's pretty much time for bed already.
Shame on me for digging up a distraction. But good thing I got to that point.
Next time, more breaths.
