It is the last day of my summer holiday. In classic fashion, my main feeling is "Aaaw, I was just starting to get the hang of this!"
The regular wakeup alarm has been activated on the phone, and the work computer has been put on charge. I even woke up in more of a regular work mode; earlier than during most of the holiday, and my mind started going in a very work-like fashion. It was clear that falling back to sleep was not an option, so I got up and went through the normal morning routine. So here I am, in front of a computer at an almost work-like time. Caught up on feeds, fresh coffee within easy reach.
Later the same day
There was coffee. Dog walks. Ice cream. Lunch out. And, importantly, screen time including podcast editing, and the last three episodes of Andor. I am incredibly late to the complete Andor party, but it sure was worth getting to. Definitely my favourite piece of Star wars television, and very, very high on my top list of all Star wars media.
So yes, holiday results are in and they are good. For tomorrow, the alarm is set, lunch has been boxed, and the bag has been packed. I am as ready as I can be for the race to Christmas.
