I started writing about the Dell 6K last night. Just a little bit, a start, I thought.
The file sits at 2200 words right now, after that one session …
I do not think it will grow that much more the more time I spend on it.
But then, I did not think I would have 2200 words to rattle off in one sitting either.
So yeah, that list item "6K" from yesterday's list, I think I pretty much nailed that one.
I also actually packed up and returned the monitor. I felt a little reluctant to let it go, but I also have to admit that my desk looks quite a bit more spacious and less messy without it squeezed in between everything else. If I was using it over the long run, I could of course have cleaned that up, but temporary things can not help but get somewhat temporary treatment.
App update of the day
Ferromagnetic - the cool visualizer Mac app for Spotify and some others that I discovered a while back - got a major update today. Well, certainly major for me, at any rate, because they added a feature I had wished for: You can now set the visualizer to appear below all your other windows, almost like making it appear as your desktop wallpaper. It feels very cool to be typing, or video conferencing for that matter, away with a soft swirl of colours and shapes filling the rest of the screen, almost as if you are in some kind of 90s cyberspace.
I have some other strangeness with the app - it seems to lose track of the music playing sometimes - but I am sure that can be worked out.
What else do you need?
